Are you a RUMPIST??

I was watching Sabrina the Teenage Witch and overheard a line on there that I thought was great and with a little rewording could be applied to many other situations.

An Aunt to Sabrina : "Are you a rumpist?"

Sabrina: "What's a Rumpist?"

The Aunt: "Someone who judges others by their rearends."

If you are at all familiar with this show these people are witches and often transport from another realm and they often get visitors from the other realm to their place on Earth in our realm. Well one such visitor came in from the other realm and had a huge hairy tail coming from his rear end area and Sabrina was very affected by it because she was inviting a friend over but was very reluctant because nothing is normal around their house. And this "repairman" was such evidence that things weren't normal around her house.

But what household is NORMAL??? Mine isn't, my in-laws house aren't, my parents isn't. But the key is that we can accept our family members and love them as Christ would. We don't want to judge a person by the rear-end anymore than we would their first impression, we want to give it time, and get to know the real them, who they are their souls, and know that they are children of our Heavenly Father and that if they are good enough for him to love them, then so should we. And who knows, maybe the person that we find the hardest to "LIKE" is placed in our "arena" of life so that we are to learn to love them and like them because maybe they have something that can bless and touch our lives if we allow them too.

  1. I'm not sure how I missed this post from a week ago.
You must be a Mormon if you can be watching Sabrina the teenage witch and draw a spritual parallel.
    Very true though!
